At our shop, you will find what you need to get started with your sugar glider. If we don't have what you are looking for, we can tell you where you can find it.

When buying sugar gliders you want to make that you have the items to keep them happy and healthy. These items are what we would consider the basic necessities. You can find most of these items at our shop. However, in the event we are low on inventory or are unable to get some of these items, we will tell you where you can find and purchase them.

Food

Food pellets are a good option to keep in the cage, for your glider to munch on throughout the day. Fresh fruits and veggies spoil and should not be left in for long periods.

Treats

Treats are a way to reward your glider during training, to calm them when anxious, or to simply show them a little love! Treats are great in moderation and should not be used as your gliders' only food.

Bonding Pouches

Bonding pouches allow you to carry your glider with you, so he/she can get used to your scent and voice.

Cages

A safe place for your glider to sleep and play is essential. Gliders prefer lots of room to jump and explore! We offer a variety of sizes and color options.

Sleeping Pouches

Sleeping pouches give Gliders a safe and cozy place to sleep in.

Water Bottles

Water bottles are highly recommended. Standing water in bowls can get contaminated or spilled. Sugar gliders can not swim, so deep water poses a threat of drowning. Water bottles are a safer, cleaner option.

Toys

Gliders are intelligent little creatures and are happier when they are kept busy. It is a good idea to keep a variety of toys in their cage. They like ones that are soft, ones they can chew, some that make noise, and others that are just small enough to drag into their sleeping pouches. Just make sure they are glider safe!

Wheels

Running wheels are a must have for cages. Sugar gliders have a lot of energy and need to run it off. When purchasing a wheel you will want to make sure that you get the right type. You want to make sure you purchase a wheel that DOES NOT have a bar in the middle of the wheel. Wheels with bars can cause serious or fatal injuries to your glider.

Litter

You can put litter at the bottom of the cage (in the tray out of reach) to keep things fresh and easier to clean. You can use pine pellets, newspaper, fleece, and, paper towels. We do not recommend using cat litter, pine shavings, or cedar as they can be harmful to your glider.
